A big day was held at Baulko with their annual fundraising event supporting the McGrath Foundation on Mothers' Day.  

Eleven fixtures were played during the course of the day with hundreds of people attending Charlie throughout the day, and being supported by special guests, the Deputy Mayor and Local Councillor Michelle Byrne, Mr Jim Cobham from the Sydney Hawks Supporter Group and State MP, Mr David Elliott who conducted the official coin toss for some divisional football games.  Our Auskickers were also treated to a special visit from G-Man on the back of the GWS Giants' first win in the AFL on Saturday.

All proceeds from the day raised through gold coin donations for parking, hair and face painting and the famous cake stall will be donated to the McGrath Foundation to help assist providing Breast Care nurses in communities right across Australia.

Club President, Kim Roughan, said "the support for this year's event was overwhelming.  The cakes that our members donated were plentiful, and in some cases, pieces of art!  Holding an event like this is about living our club values of Community and Teamwork, and teaching our children that the community extends beyond football.  Breast cancer is something that many people have had an association with, and this is our chance to give a little bit back to the wider community."

Teams visiting on the day also got into the spirit of the day, kicked off by the U13 Div 2 St Ives team donning pink socks.
