To kick off the AFL season, every Baulko player is invited to pull on their Hawks jersey and join the party as part of the lead up to the Giants first home game for 2017 against the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday April 1st.
What’s on?
Starting at 1:30pm there will be:
- Free snow cones and popcorn
- Inflatables and jumping castles
- DJ
- Footy clinics
Then at about 2:45, all teams will march to Spotless Stadium for free entry to the ground and a lap of honour. The game starts at 4:35.
The Face of Baulko
One Baulko player will be chosen at random to be photographed with Jeremy Cameron (Baulko’s own Giant) and that photo will be shown on the big screen before every home match this season.
Where?
The party is at the WestConnex Centre (GIANTS HQ), located at 1 Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park (opposite the State Sports Centre and just down from the Aquatic Centre). Park at P3 – Sarah Durack Avenue.
What to bring
Players should wear their full Hawks uniform – jerseys, shorts and socks – for the party and the march, but bring something warmer for the match because it will be after dark when it ends.
Tickets
All players get in free. Just email you team manager that you’d like to go. Mums and dads can purchase additional general admission tickets through the Giants web site at a discounted rate.
