Welcome to the 2018 Preseason
On Wednesday 24 January, and for the following four consecutive Wednesdays, Baulko Hawks will be conducting Come and Try AFL nights.
These will also be the first training sessions for our 2018 registered players. If you are still yet to register, registrations will be open so you can register on the night.
Sessions will be held at Charles McLaughlin Reserve and there may even be a sausage sizzle to satisfy your hunger (dependent upon volunteers). If you can’t make these days, don’t worry there will be more dates coming up.
Come & Try
Any new players that would like to see what its like to play AFL/Auskick in a family focused club should come down. We will have a kick around and answer any questions. Come and experience the friendly club culture and most importantly have fun. If anyone knows anyone who is interested forward this email to them. The more the merrier.
We are intending to host in 2018:
1 x U8, 3 x U9, 2 x U10, 2 x U11, 1 x U12, 2 x U13, 1 x U14, U15JV, 2 x U17
Female teams 2 x Junior Girls, 2 x Youth Girls and 2 x Senior Girls (for all ages 9 – 18 years)
But for these teams to go ahead, we still need lots more registrations, the only age group close to capacity at this stage is U10.
Registration
The club will be taking new registrations and renewals. Cash and Credit card facilities are available, and you can also nominate to use your active kids rebate also. But please register ASAP.
Training
All players intending on playing in 2018 should turn up (unless your enjoying yourself on holidays). We will split the players up into groups and run training appropriately.
Coaches
We will be requiring the assistance of all our 2017 coaches on these Wednesday nights, you should have now received an email from our 2018 Coach’s co-ordinator Stuart Lackas. If you require any further details in regards to what is required from you on the night as a Coach, please do not hesitate to contact Stuart directly. We are looking forward to seeing you all back at Charlie tomorrow night at 6.30pm, so dust off those footy boots, and get ready for some action.
