The BHAFC are pleased to announce the appointment of the 2012 Coaches Mentor, Terry Mudge. Terry has a wealth of experience in junior, youth and senior football, and looks forward to assisting our coaches to develop our kids in Australian Rules Football.
We thank all those who submitted EOIs for this very important role for their patience whilst we finalised the position, and wish Terry the very best moving forward. We also thank Michael Lambert for the great work he has done over the past 2 years. Mick will assist Terry in the transition period.

Round 17, Sunday 14 August 2011 saw the last footy at Charlie for the season. Congratulations to all Players, coaches, managers, goal & boundary umpires, Canteen helpers, BBQ chefs, sideline umpire assessors, and all associated with Baulko on a Great Season. Good luck to those involved in Finals.
For many, this season sees the conclusion of many memorable years with Baulko. The Trophys, the Frosty mornings, the close games, the Club Song, the rivalries, the injuries, the Premierships, the sausage sandwiches... It's been wonderful.

Lachy's 150th Game for BAULKO

Sunday August 14 2011, Lachlin Hayres celebrated a Terrific Milestone - playing 150 games for Baulko. The Under 15/16 Div 1 side had a big win over Glebe in the last match at Charlie for 2011, and Lachy got amongst the goals as well. Congratulations Lachy, and good luck for the rest of the season and we look forward to watching your footy in the years to come.

The World Famous Baulko Trivia Night has been run and won. Saturday 30 July saw the culmination of a huge effort from a small team of people led by Michelle & Kerry. Congratulations to the team and a BIG Thank you to everyone who attended for supporting the night and for your generosity. Craig Davis was a Great MC; the “End of an Era” table were the victors on the night; and the winners of the Lucky Door prize are very appreciative and somewhat humbled.

As most of you are aware, Baulko has had reason for excitement over the last few months with two of our former players and current Life Members making AFL team lists.
Trent Stubbs was drafted to the Collingwood AFL team late last year; and more recently, Nathan "Nipper" Gordon played his first AFL game for the Swans against the Bulldogs.
To acknowledge this remarkable achievement and to provide a strong connection for our youngsters, our committee have decided to rename our U9 teams. From this point forward;
- Our U9 Gold team will be known as Baulko U9 Nippers
- Our U9 Brown team will be known as Baulko U9 Stubbzs (pron: Stubbzees)
We know that this initiative will forge a strong connection between our youngsters and these two fine young men, demonstrating to our kids that with hard work and determination, they too can realise their dreams.

 The Baulkham Hills Hawks Australian Football Club turned its ground, players and supporters pink in support of the McGrath Foundation on Mothers Day 8 May 2011 Round 4.
Charles McLaughlin was painted pink. In addition, the players and supporter across the club’s Auskick and 10 Junior home team matches were invited to have their hair sprayed pink for the day.
Fundraising for the McGrath Foundation by selling merchandise, cakes and turning people pink raised in excess of $2000 for the McGrath Foundation, a registered charity which aims to provide Australian women affected by breast cancer with access to specialist care and support provided by Breast Care Nurses. The Foundation is currently aiming to provide Breast Care Nurses in rural and regional Australia. Our club aims to embrace the McGrath Foundation motto “together we can make a difference”.

BHAFC Proudly announces a new sponsorship arrangement with the Sydney Hawks.
The Sydney Hawks are keen to help promote junior footy in Sydney and following our affiliation with the Hawthorn Football Club, what better way than through the Baulko Hawks.
The Sydney Hawks run many events during the season including live telecasts of Hawthorn games, meet and greet sessions with the players after matches when the Hawks play in Sydney, and a Brownlow night.
We will also link in with them heavily for other events yet to be announced. In the pipeline is a joint social event (Syd Hawks members and BHAFC members) being a joint viewing of a Hawthorn game on the big LCD screens at Baulkham Hills Sporting Club. Game and Date TBA.
Membership with the Sydney Hawks is free for our registered players and all kids (i.e. Brothers, sisters etc) and $10 for adults (parents). Please see the membership form here for more details.
