The Sydney City and Sydney North regional committees have agreed to merge to form the new Sydney Harbour region.

AFL NSW/ACT are now calling for all expressions of interest for those people who are interested in joining the new Sydney Harbour Regional Committee.

A key component of the AFL (NSW/ACT) Talented Player Program, the academy provides the players with the opportunity to undertake an intensive five-month training program. The program will feature a series of game sense training sessions as well as numerous off-field education seminars.  The AFL is clearly very committed to the establishment of a western Sydney side in the National competition. It is vital that the region’s best young players are identified and placed in a high quality program that will enable them to progress to the more elite levels – and the goal is obviously to see many young western Sydney athletes contracted to the new franchise when it gets the go ahead.

Congratulations to Joshua Battistella (U13 Div1) and Rhys Fagundez (U14 Div1) from Baulko for their selection into the Academy of Sport.

Baulko will continue to play club footy in the Sydney North competition (no change) but our players are now eligible for rep footy in the new Western Sydney Pioneers Talent Zone, which is two levels above club footy.
